Privacy Policy

Skedo is built to keep your family's schedule private. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: we don't collect it, we don't track you, and we can't see your schedule.

Information we collect

None. Skedo has no accounts, no sign-up, and no analytics or advertising SDKs. We — the developer — do not collect, receive, store, or have access to any of your personal information.

Where your data lives

Everything you create in Skedo — events, children's names and colors, group plans, and settings — is stored:

On your device, and
In your own private iCloud account using Apple's iCloud (CloudKit), so it syncs across your devices and to family members you choose to share with.

This data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy and stored under your Apple Account. Skedo has no server of its own and never transmits your schedule to us or any third party.

Family sharing

If you invite a partner or another family, the schedule or group you share is synced through Apple's iCloud sharing directly between your iCloud accounts. Only the people you invite can see shared content. You can stop sharing at any time from within the app or from iCloud settings.

Location, microphone, and speech

Location — Used only when you search for a place to attach to an event, to show nearby results. Location is used on-device and to query the map/places service for that search. It is not stored by us or used to track you.

Microphone & Speech Recognition — Used only when you tap the microphone to add an event by voice. Speech is processed to turn what you say into event text. It is not recorded, stored, or sent to us.

Notifications — Used only to deliver the reminders and daily summaries you turn on. Scheduled locally on your device.

Skedo uses a third-party mapping/places service (Google Places) solely to return place suggestions for your searches. Those searches are subject to that provider's terms; Skedo sends only the text you type to find a place and does not attach your identity.

Tracking & advertising

Skedo contains no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party analytics. We do not use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and do not build any profile of you.

Children's privacy

Skedo is a tool for parents and families to organize schedules. Children's names and activities that you enter are stored privately in your own iCloud, as described above, and are never collected by us. Skedo is not directed at children for independent use and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Data deletion

Because we hold none of your data, you are always in full control. To delete everything: remove your events and family in the app, and/or delete the app. Data stored in your iCloud can be managed or removed through your device's iCloud settings.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the revised version at this page.
